NT Workstation 4.0 Service Pack 6a
Misbehaving App - Formflow 2.22
Formflow is a 16 bit form viewing app some of my government users need to fill out govt forms. On one user's pc, she attempts to execute Formflow 2.22 (C:\formflow\dffill.exe), gets an hour glass and then nothing else happens.
I took a look in task manager and saw that an NTVDM does open with WOWEXEC inside, but no DFFILL.EXE. The NTVDM process stays active until I "End Process."
We recently pushed out Office2k via SMS, but the user can't remember if she could use Formflow before the SMS push or not. Here's what I've attempted so far...
1. Uninstalling/Reinstalling Formflow with different options
2. Manually removing any Formflow related keys in the registry
3. Office2k Repair
4. Rerunning Service Pack 6a
5. Installing IE 5.01 SP1 (had to for #6)
6. All updates from www.windowsupdate.com
All to no avail. Any Virtual Dos Manager experts out there?
I need help on this one..
