Corrupted BIOS?

Hello, I have an old Lenovo Thinkcenter computer with
2gb RAM
Intel E4600
integrated graphics

I tried updating BIOS in windows (xp) and it failed. Computer still worked well, until I restarted it and then it didn't boot, it was just black screen.
After that, I tried resetting cmos by taking the cmos battery out for 15minutes. After I inserted it back, now computer not only doesn't post and shows me black screen, but also all fans work at 100%.
Is there any way to bring the PC back to life? :/ The computer is not mine ;x
 
What model Thinkcenter is it? If the BIOS chip is socketed, you might be able to buy a new BIOS chip and just swap it out.

EDIT: I also dimly recall that some Thinkcenter machines have a BIOS recovery jumper on the motherboard that allows you to recover from a corrupted BIOS.

I took the PC to a PC's repairer, I think they'll attempt to take the BIOS chip out and put it into another PC and then flash it. I hope that'll fix it. A good lesson not to touch an old PC if it's still working(ant not mine!)!
 
Problem is unable to be solved. BIOS chip can't be removed so it can't be re-flashed on another computer. Will have to change parts or buy a new computer...

Yes, please list the model. As I previously posted, there are actually models of the Thinkcenter which can be recovered from a corrupted BIOS via a motherboard jumper.
