Corrupt RAR FIle

Hey everyone, any advice on how to fix a corrupt RAR file? Its a home movie file that I zipped to save on space because I wasn't about to use it for a while

I'm pretty sure it's gone.

However I will give this advice for the future, video files are already in a compressed format, they cannot be compressed any further by zipping or using winrar. The gains are maybe an itty-tiny-bit if you're lucky. So don't turn them into winrar archives next time.
 
Next time you can create those .par files so that if it does become corrupted you can use the par files to restore them.
