From time to time, I am getting corrupt files on my system, that
Norton Disk Doctor has to fix. I have 3 hd's, and it's not isolated

What would be causing this? My file system is NTFS.

This morning, I tried to run Diskeeper, and on my c drive, it says there are inconsistencies. This happens a lot, and it tells me to run checkdisk.
I have a feeling that I shouldn't be getting inconsistiencies this often.

No it shouldn't be getting errors that often. List all the specs to your computer.

Also do you uses rounded cables?

I noticed that your processor is overclocked, I have a good fealing that, that is your culprit. Try and run Prime on it for 10 hours or more an see if it gets any errors. Also is that CPU unlocked or are you uping the FSB?

My processor came unlocked.
My FSB is 133 (ram is pc133).

Where do I download Prime at?

I have had this computer/setup for over a year now, and never ran into any problems (overclocking or with this corrupt file bs)

I think the files are random.
I don't think this has been happening for a year (as long as I've had this system)

Right now, I booted up with Recovery Console, and running chkdsk /p and chkdsk /r on all my drive's and partitions, just to clean out any errors before running that PRIME overnight tonight. What should I be looking for tomorrow morning after running PRIME?

I ran Prime95 for a day, and the memory86 ram tester for day, everything came up fine.
I notice when I run checkdisk, that there are 0 bad sectors on all my hd's, which is a good sign.
I recently ordered a AthlonXP 2100 processor, which I will run non-overclocked. Maybe that will solve this probem?

Hopefully that will fix it. Other than our IDE cabels getting interference or you computer in general is getting interference from something, or your IDE control is going wacky I am just about out of Ideas. I don't think its your HDs becase multiple ones are getting corrupt data.

Good luck and let us know if it comes back.
