i don't think these are typical scores for a system of my build..

i have an asus a8v deluxe
amd athlon 64 3400+ socket 939
1 GB mushkin basic green ram in dual channel mode
evga geforce 6800 128 mb

3dmark01: 16,000ish
3dmark03: 8,000ish

I believe i should be getting at least 19k in 01.. and probably in the 9k range for 03..and yes, i did set the settings to HIGH performance in the driver panel. not sure what's wrong..

Hmm...well...

I'm scoring around 12,000 in 3DMark01 SE with:

DFI Lanparty UT nf3-250gb
s754 A64 3000+
512mb PC3200 Kingston RAM
GeForce4 4200Ti 128mb (AGP 4x & overclocked to 290mhz Core & 485mhz memory)

I'm not done overclocking, but thats my latest score. I haven't run 3DMark03 yet.

My video card is REALLY holding me back.

I hope that gives you an idea at where you 'should' be.

Those scores are low to me, you should be seeing around 9500-10,000 ..unlock the extra pipes and you should see 11,500+.

Would you like some help getting those scores up?

well i disabled antialiasing and all that crap in the driver panel..so i don't know what's wrong atm. maybe it's the settings of the test? on max anisotropy it says 4...could that be it? the 01 scores look pretty low..i'd score higher with my 9700 pro and 2500+ barton..

I score 20k in 01 with my system and my 5800U...Near 21K when I oc it to 525/1100.....

I get 6000 in 03 with prime and a bunch of apps running....

I hope my BFG 6800 OC does better then that!!!

i think i figured out the problem..my memory is clocked too low. i set it to ddr 400 (memory ratio to cpu fsb 2:1) and it would show clocked at 300 mhz (150 mhz) on CPU-Z. ahh...anyone with an a8v-deluxe know how to fix this?

ok, so the timings ont he memory were different, even though they were the same model.. i couldnt make them the same timings. so i sold em and bought a new pair of sticks.

now my scores dramatically improved:

3dmark2001: 19,500ish
3dmark03: 9,000+
