corporate types, how do you sign your emails?

In cases where the individual I am emailing is more than 3 levels senior, I use 'Best Possible Regards'.

With regards to 'Heated Exchanges' - It's best by far to take that stuff to the phones. When you must, the trick to learn is 'swear at the screen, but pour Honey on your fingertips'. Granted, that can be rather difficult at times.

I've been doing "thanks" for 5 years, but it's not appropriate in all instances. Where not appropriate to say thanks, I usually just sign my name but that seems too short.

It's a company standard.. and then there's the disclaimer at the bottom regarding tax advice and privileged/confidential info. Work at a law firm.
