e4300?

yes, $125 for E4300, newegg CS is among the best, bought few thousand dollars stuffs from them last yr, never had troubles, always got my stuffs in 3days, if the item is defective just call them, restock fee will not be charged plus a free shipping label.

Mwave is now about same price as newegg on the E4300. Also 3% off with fatwallet, which saves a little more on mwave. 🙂

Both are good prices tho. Cant go wrong with newegg or mwave. If you are able to get the 3% with fatwallet, and are buying the more expensive cpus, its better to get it off mwave. 🙂

huh?...how did you get the extra $10 off?

If money wasnt the issue...would the majority of you get the E4300 over the E6600...because I see a lot of people get the E4300 and Im just trying to find out why.

Thanks.

may be next time ill go to fatwallet first.
but $189, thats the cheapest price to this minute 😛

I'd say at the moment mwave is a bit better deal for the 4300. It's $5 cheaper after shipping than newegg, AND its 2 day air, rather than 3 day at newegg.

Anyway, its where I ordered mine and it's been processed. Should be at my door Wed I hope.

Yes that ram is good with the e4300. You should be able to overclock it quite a bit with the right motherboard and cooling 🙂

Nice, looks like the E4300 is $1.00 cheaper than newegg lol. About a few cents cheaper than mwave ONLY if you didnt use the 3% fatcash.

EDIT: Err, it looks like MWAVE is now out of stock of all the free usb drives and pc games that came with the cpu's. So fairly identical to newegg and clubit if you dont use the 3% fatcash.

Today, received my E6420 from MWave. At default vcore, 400x8= 3.2 gig. My E4300 only will do 334x9=3.0 gig. Will burn in some more before running higher speeds. Posted at 3.4 gig at default but no windows.

Same for me. 50% overclock = not bad for right out of the box. 😀😀😀

The 6420 is a no brainer...4MB L2, Conroe vs. Allendale (at least in the newer 6400s)

RE:6400
Cons: In CPU-Z or CPUID, this is actually listed as an ALLENDALE core NOT A CONROE!
IT seems Intel changed these. The problem is that they run much hotter! (Lifted from a Newegg reviewer).
Edited: For clarity.
