Core temps "stuck"

Is this normal?

CPU is motherboard sensor, which I don't trust - it will read 25C when ambient temp is higher than that... it will read -5C below the "motherboard" temp.

Core0/1 is the INTEL core sensor.

I highlighted the strange sections:

As you can see, the INTEL core sensor never goes below 41C. Ever, never never ever. While clearly the other, mboard sensor is offset by about 10C, it does show lower readings when the Intel sensor is stuck at 41C.

Is this normal?

Link is fixed I think... this board is weird.

Anyway, I did try coretemp, it showed the exact same thing.

Yep just tried it again, coretemp reports the exact same core temps as speedfan, and never goes below 41C.

My E8400 never goes below 40C. I just installed a E5200 that has one sensor stuck at 57C, the other idles @ 32C and 47C under load. Just how it is. It's the under load temp that's important :)
