Core Temp shows 0 C for 955

I just got my new 955, but alas, CoreTemp64 only shows 0C for my temperature, and only one temp reading. It does see 4 cores though and their speed/activity. How do I fix this?

I'm running a MA790X-UD4P with Bios F5 I think.

EDIT: now that I've restarted, it stays at 40C constant... even under load. Speed Fan shows the same for the Core temp, but the other temps have real numbers..

I'm not really sure what's going on there, but one thing you can check is that you've got ACC disabled in the BIOS. (It won't do much for a quad-core anyway.) Enabling ACC does two unusual things on some motherboards with some X3 Phenom IIs:

#1. Unlocks the disabled cores
#2. Disables the core temp diodes.

So it's possible that if it's enabled, that's knocking out your core temps.
