My system specs are as followes

Cpu - X2 3800 @ 2651 (skt 939)
Memory - 2gbs Corsair Pc3200 @ 176.8mhz 2.5-3-3-7
Mobo - Asus A8N-SLI Se
Gfx - Ati 2900Pro @ 840/2042
Os - Vista Home Premium
Psu - Xfinity 650w

My question is would i benifit more in gaming by lowering my cpu clock to around 2500mhz and raising my memory to 210mhz, or is this the best setup for what i have now.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

35mhz difference on memory will not make a large difference. Go for the higher cpu clock.

If your system's stable with no error messages at those overclocked speeds, slowing anything down won't speed anything up.

on my system I seem to get better performance with my memory slightly overclocked than with the processor 100 mhz faster but it probably just depends on game and how Ram hungry it is.

Assuming your at 265 x 10 and a 133 divider, that memory should be good to 220mhz (Up the Vdimm a little...A LITTLE) and run LIMIT 166. That should put you at 2650 and 220.8mhz.

You can play with this Overclock calculator:

And if you havn't done it yet, here is access to the other 27 memory (sub) timings:

I have been messing around with the program that you linked. Correct me if I am wrong but does this allow me to have different settings than my bios and change them on the fly? My current bios does not allow those dividers but this program seems to let me use them, and has higher voltages than my bios. Is it safe to use them with adequate cooling?
