Core i7 XMP memory

Anyone using this yet? XMP is like SPD on steroids (or, EPP for DDR2). I have some Patriot memory with XMP and tried it, but it doesn't seem stable. I'll try to find out if it is just one stick out of the bunch, but so far my first foray into high speed DDR3 was a bust.

Setting the BIOS on the MSI Eclipse to enable XMP set the memory to 1600MHz, 9-9-9-24, 1.65v. Was not stable. Neither was setting those manually.
