Intel is supposed to release the 950/975's at the end of the month. Although, they seem to be available in other countries. I am assuming the NDA's have kept sites like ANANDTECH from releasing any thorough reviews on them. Any ideas when credible sites will be able to offer reviews?

TBH I assume there is no NDA on D0, just lack of retail samples.

What site is going to go to all the trouble of doing up a full review with an ES D0? Over on XS you can find tons of OC's with D0's but they are all ES's, their results don't mean diddly squat unless you plan on getting yourself an ES.

I'm sure once AT is confident they have a retail D0 that is representative of what their readers can buy from the store then they will go to the trouble of running an article on it.

Just a guess on my part. Could be way off here.

Often an initial review is available with a followup when retail is available. I am planning on a build this fall so as to get DirectX 11 and Windows 7. I am still chasing Case, Motherboard and chip. Those questions are for different forums.

there currently is no cpu greater then an i7 D0.

Even the gainestown server platform is an i7 D0 wih 2xqpi.

The only questions u need to ask yourself when thinking about an i7 is:

1. Can you afford it?
2. Yes its gonna be expensive, so can u afford it?

Didn't you know the Phenom 2 3.2ghz overclocks better when you use super secret, not known to anyone, cooling methods? ;) (not so inside joke)
