Yeah, its a good deal, but the reason it isn't hot is because people know they will also have to purchase to a new motherboard and possibly RAM. Otherwise this deal would be much hotter, think of a Q9550 at $250, I guarantee you more responses than this.
 
I'm definitely afraid of the 300 dollar pricetags on motherboards for the i7 at the moment whereas I could drop some cash on a Q9xxx and just drop it in my current motherboard.
 
it may not be a hot deal for some but it's deifinately a hot deal for others... and it's a hot deal for poeple that have bought thier i7 from microcenter since it's release because microcenter does a 30day price guarentee.... and since I was the first person to buy an i7 920 from the rockville store on the 16th of november... this is a smoking hot deal for me... and for others that have bought or will buy
