I'm about to build a new Core i5 system.
I will use it for desktop apps, some gaming, photo editing, sometimes video editing and so on. Of course I will also OC it a bit.

I realized today when my memory arrived, that I have bought the Corsair Dominator without the Intel Extrme Memory Profiles.

This is the memory I bought.

And this is the same one but with the profiles.

Prices on Newegg doesn't correspond to the ones in Sweden. The last one is about $10 more expensive here.
Is it worth changing the memory? And is there other stuff that isn't listed that differs the kits?
The system isn't built yet. Still waiting for parts.

It should still run the same settings but it has not been verified to do so. The 2 kits you listed are slightly different. The problem is that the kit you have is tuned for AMD platforms and therefore has not XMP profile. You could install them and test if you want or simply exchange them.

Great thanks for your reply!
I decided to change my memory for the intel version instead. I read somewhere about a user who had problems with getting the memory running at the specified speed on a Asus P7P55D mobo. I'm going to use the Asus P7P55D Pro, so better safe than sorry.
