Hey,

I seem to be a bit confused... I recently overclocked my i5-750 to 3.4GHz with no turbo boost and to monitor the cpu temp I installed PC Wizard 2008 (anybody know a better program than this?). The funny thing is, under the "CPU" tab it says that the processor has 8 cores but has 4 enabled. What does this mean? I thought i5s (750 and 760) didn't have Hyper-Threading, or is it possible they do but it locked.

If anybody knows any good stress testing programs that I can use to ensure my overclock is stable and that it does not overheat please do post.

program is reading cpu wrong is my guess. Use realtemp or coretemp for temps and cpuZ for other info. And prime95 for testing
