Core i5 2500K HSF upgrade

I got the Corsair h60 for $50 and my temps around 28-30C while general surfing the web ,chatting, etc. Prime95 after 3 hours is around 58-60.

i had a zalman CNPS9900A. General work 30-33C. Prime95 3 hours 64-66C max

both coolers = 2500k/ASUS p67 Sabertooth @ 4.5 1.310V

This is a silly post and those of you making similar decisions to the OP should ignore it. "Ricer"? What is more important, lower operating temps or "looks"? Most people don't even have a window into their case, and if you do, then you really care more about how the cooler looks vs how it works?

I have a 212+ that I got for $15 after rebate - if you're gonna spend $300+ on a K-chip plus another 150-200 for a mobo, then why are you gonna scrimp on $15-25 for proper cooling? Its like buying a $70,000 BMW but buying some $40 el-cheapo tires instead of $125 decent tires. Pennywise pound foolish.

I have to admit that I thought about your comment about a BMW owner spending $40. tires--when they cost $285.00 for the fronts and $310.00 for the rear/staggered setup 18'...

Anyway I just ordered New BMW oem wheels, center caps and (just) TPMS Module kit cost $320.00...I thought of you with your comment about $40. tires...
