do all core duo processors use DDR2 ram? My school just assigned me a laptop nc6320 by HP but it only has 512ram. which seems pointless to me. so i wanna upgrade to 1or2gig. Hopefully someone knows thanks
 
The CPU isn't what determines what ram is used, the chipset is..you'll have to look at the specifications for your laptop to see what it supports.
