Hey guys!
I'm new to this forum, nice to meet you:D
i recently purchased a new computer based on the E6300 processor and Gigabyte GA-945P-S3 motherboard,my problem is that when i ran a series of benchmark tests,i realised it was not giving the performance expected from the core2duo series,so i ran the cpu-z utility and i realised that one of the cores of my processor was disabled,so can anyone tell me how to re-enable it?:(

You simply can't disable a core. Are you sure CPU-Z says its gone? They changed the layout in 1.36, so you can't select them as if they were different processors any more. Instead it'll say Cores: 2 next to it.

I suspect this system is setup (is it really new?) for a single core CPU. Under Device Manager, Computer - What does XP report here?
