Core contact freezer without fan ?

I just moved into an Antec 300 from my old Enermax full tower.
I have an Abit ip-35, Xeon 3110, XFX260. No overclocking. The question is if someone has run the Core contact freezer without a fan when the heatsink is between 2 fans. I have the 2 120mm in front and the included fans as exhaust. The intake are those cheap Coolermasters 1200 rpm 19db.

Why would you want to do that? You already have a lot of fans that scream in your case, putting another one onto the cpu heatsink it's not going to add that much more noise anyway.

Put a good quality low speed 800 RPM fan on the heatsink and it won't even add to the noise and temps are much better than without a fan.
