There's more to Photoshop than a single blur filter.

Opteron 165 2.5GHz, 2GB mem, CS2

How much you think it would take using a 48 PS gpu?

Have I won?

Wow, I think you need to re-run the test. There is no way your computer should be slower than mine. Here are my results:

Pentium II 400 Mhz
384 MB ram
Photoshop 7

12 minutes 30 seconds

Also, I'll be building a new system with an E6600 this week (I've had this one for eight years), so I'll make a more relevant (to the thread topic, at least) post then.

On my sempy 64 @ 2.4, 1:12 using CS2. 1GB DDR400.

I think the guy who got 22min with his Pentium M is using Photoshop 6 which probablly handicaped his result.

What in god's name do you use it for?
Also, how fast can you do this photoshop test with your rig?

Ok folks I've done a little survey of results here's what I've found:

old Athlon XP >2min
A64 single @ 2.4/5 do this in 1:10-1:15 seconds
X2 @ 2.4/5 do this in 30-35 seconds
C2D @ 3Ghz+ do this in 25-30 seconds
Kensfield @ 2.5 or so do this at 15-17 seconds
