How is this for an E6600 build? I figure I have made some bad judgments, as I'm pretty new at this... This is all from zipzoomfly.com:

Gigabyte GV-NX76G256D-RH GeForce 7600 GS PCI Express 256MB DDR2 Video Card w/TV-Out & DVI Retail ***Free Shipping***

Total: $557.00

Then I was in the hotdeals forum section here and someone posted about the Gigabyte Motherboard and E6600 combo for $479.99.

Altogether it is around $1050.00.

Is this a decent build? Any recommendations? My budget is $1100 that I can play with.

Thanks a lot...

It would be used for a little gaming... I play RTCW a lot... It's not exactly a cutting-edge game though... It is mostly used for music recording, video, school stuff, etc... I would like for it to be a fairly decent gaming machine though. My budget is $1100... So any recommendations for changes would be great... Also, should I look into 10,000RPM HDDs? Or would the Seagate 7200.10 be good enough?

Thanks...

I've been trying to find some good benchmark comparisons involving the 7600 GS and other 7-series geforce's, but I can't seem to come up with any results... If anyone knows of anything, please post the link... I do play RTCW a lot, and would like a card that would enable me some very good settings and frame rates... I remember a while ago finding a link to a benchmark test of many newer mid-range video cards that was tested using RTCW. So if anyone knows a link to that comparison, that would hit pretty close to home on what I'm looking for. I would like to spend 100 to about 250 on a video card... So any tips on the best one in that price range?
