Core 2 and memory dilemma

I'm working on building a new PC for the core 2 duo (like a lot of people). I recently purchased a 2GB kit of PQI Turbo memory (I dont plant to overclock much). However, I'm waiting on a Nvidia 590 SLI board, and I want to test the sticks before the 30-day newegg RMA expires.

What would you do?

Wander into a Best Buy and ask if the sticks look good?...

if you can trust someone on these forums then you could always send it to them to check for you

Newegg has a 1 year replacement time for defective items don't they?

You're right, I do have a year. I don't know why I thought it was 30 days. Thanks!
