Cordless Joystick Stopped Recognizing itself...

I have a Logitech Cordless Freedom 2.4 joystick. Usually, to turn it on, you press any button, a light turns orange as it turns on, then both the reciever, which usually blinks green, turns solid green and the light on the joystick turns green, then off. Now, the joystick stays orange for a while, then turns off. Does not detect... I've replaced the batteries, tried reboots and different usb ports, but nothing. Thoughts?

ROFL. Well.. I just took a pair of tweezers and pried the thing partially open (the transmitter) and barely saw a little button, the kind on my motherboard for resetting the bios. Pressed it, and it now works.
