Copying files problem?

Hi. Just registered to find a solution to my copying problem. Couldn't find anything on google or on this forum that relates to my problem. Hope you guys can help me.

Anyway the problem is that whenever I copy a file, for example I copy a CAD file B to a job folder on our server drive instead it copy a CAD file A. That goes for any files I tried copying. You name it: word, excel, music, etc. it would only still copy that particular CAD file A and nothing else. Even within my computer alone it will copy nothing but that CAD file which I'm currently working. If I copy a different file to the folder with that particular CAD file in it, the same thing happens except it rename the file with _02 at the end. This been going on since the middle of last week.

Thanks in advance if you could find why this is happening.

So you're saying that if you try to copy a file, say, "my_drawing.dwg" or "puppies.jpg" or "a_program.exe"... it always copies "some_other_drawing.dwg" instead?

Yup. That is what's happening whenever I try copying a file to another folder.

I think it might have something to do with a virus I got last week. I don't remember what it was called now. I did removed it but it didn't fully returned the windows to normal state. The folders where all gone and couldn't access any folders other than the control panel. I did searched for a solution how I got it and how it installed itself without me doing anything. Couldn't find any solution as it was a brand new virus from other comments I read. So we had to do a recovery 2 weeks before that. Now the copying file is what's wrong now. Also some folders are hidden even the folders under libraries and some project files under my documents.
