Copying CD Problem

I tried to copy a music CD, to do this i went into Nero and selected copy music option, i then and went and selected the tracks from the drive the music CD was in to the blank CD drive with the blank CD inside, i tried this with a DVD-RAM and CD-RW drive, both ways. It outputted to me that it was copying, but when i went to see if there were any files on the CD nothing was there, i even tried playing it in a CD player and nothing. :disgust:

Any ideas what's going wrong?

First, welcome to the AT forums.

Do you have enough free space on the drive that is targeted for the scratch and/or buffer files of your burning program? Are your two drives on the same cable or separate cables. On-the-fly copying will almost always work better with the drives on separate channels.

To get a good copy in Nero, instead of trying to copy from disk to disk, go to Choose Recorder, and select the Image Recorder, instead of your burner. Then, burn the image file to disk. In Nero 6 and later, you can also choose to have the program verify the burned copy to match image data.
