Copy Protection on Diablo 2 Play cd

What settings do i need in clonecd to be able to defeat the copy protection of Diablo 2? Securom is the style as far as i know..

i tried these settings and did not check "Do not repair sub data" - Clonecd setting pic
and it still tells me to enter my playCD
mine is pretty jacked up so i am trying to copy a friends, i have a CD key and everything already, and mybnet acct is setup.

please help me and dont go off about buy the game because i did

To burn D2 (playdisc):

Use CLONECD and:

Reading Settings - Read SubChannel Data from Data Tracks on, all other settings off.


Writing - All off.

...that's what it takes when people post crap. Poor guy had to try a few other forums in hopes of getting an answer to his question. Good detective work, though.

Hey Weston. I see you WWW icq'ed me or something but I looked all over and couldn't find a way to reply! :|

I clicked the subchannel things like you're suppose to but my copy didn't work. Just said enter cd and then even my regular copy wouldn't work unless I restarted comp.

I hear there are game libraries that will select the correct settings for you in CloneCD when you specify the game so I'll try that. Mine's getting really scratched so I want to make a copy before it becomes unusable.
