Hasnt this been discussed in the hardware and software forums enough already?

If you can read the data, it isnt copy-protected. Anything that can be read can be moved and written somewhere else.
It the case of digital audio (ones and zeros) its already being copied, to some sort of memory. It doesnt take any real work to write the data in memory to a hard drive or flash drive.

it's usually a simple matter of turning off software error correction, or any kind that tries to read the data multiple times. let the drive interpolate the data by itself.
