Copy of today's Niner/Giants game?

Hey all, my Dad is traveling internationally and of course wasn't able to catch the game. I... forgot to record it since he "forgot" to order the post season tickets since he was leaving. Grr. Anyway, being the nice person I am I still want to try and get a copy of the game for him to watch. Did anyone record it, and would they mind letting me dl it from them so I can show it to him when he gets back? Thanks.

recording any nfl game is illegal in its own right, without written consent. You can view the game privately yes, as it is being broadcast. any other reproduction is illegal.

A friend of mine actually asked the NFL office about their policy...

Recording the game on your VCR and watching it again (or lending it to someone) is completely legal from what he was told. You cannot use it to make money (via a broadcast or sale of tapes) without their consent.

ah, i always thought that "any unauthorized reproduction of this game", which they say at the end of all broadcasts, included taping the game. unless they are giving everyone authorization to tape, etc.

ya right .. like they can control millions of VCRs to record. This goes back to the betamax/ vcr case. It is FAIR USE. Now, if you choose to circumvent this tape for personal gain or broadcast on television, you need the expressed written consent of the NFL.

no one said they could control it, but it can be illegal and be done by thousands of people...take jaywalking for instance...or how about the speed limits on freeways?
