Cops sodomize guy for smoking pot

Mineo fled into the station after cops accused him of smoking pot. He jumped a turnstile before he was pinned down and handcuffed near a token booth. Mineo claims cops pulled down his pants and one of the officers sodomized him with a police baton as he screamed out in pain. He was given a ticket for disorderly conduct and released. Hynes said cops warned Mineo he would be charged with a felony if he reported the attack

The names of six witnesses who support Mineo's claims, including independent straphangers as well as friends and a roommate with him Oct. 15, have been turned over to Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes.

So have the names of two NYPD witnesses - a token clerk and his 12-year-old son.

Police brass said these two witnesses - found before Mineo's allegation was made public - discredit Mineo's claims that he was sodomized by four police officers from Brooklyn's 71st Precinct.

They need to seriously limit lawsuits for stupid shit like this. 220M? Come on now...plus he's an artist in Brooklyn, he should be used to getting porked!

Sounds like they're f'd
 
This happened last year. I seem to remember them testing the baton and not finding any DNA, but there was suspicion of a radio being used. There are also conflicting witness statements from the transit cop and some onlookers.
