<< racial profiling..... wrong people wrong place wrong time >>

Now it is getting late, and perhaps my understanding of English isn't as good as I thought but this sure reads to me like you just declared this to be a case of racial profiling. Now really to me it seems like most racial profiling involves police pulling over a certain race out of traffic. Usuaully that doesn't mean 6 cars and one SUV with guns drawn. The logical conclusion is something other than racial profiling, but you jumped to a very quick and biased conclusion. Often I don't think people give police the respect they deserve and I think you're one of them jumping to overly hasty, harsh, and irrational conclusions and I said so.
>>

take a look at my posts little higher.... then let me know what you thinki'll make it easy... look for the words 'in retrospect' ;)
>>

Actually I began composing before you typed your retrospect message, but to make it easy on you, doesn't that prove my point that you jumped to extreme conclusions based on your biases against police?

What I find pretty hilarious is that jlee posts about "racial profiling" after making theser remarks about blacks in a thread yesterday:

<< I visited DC for a few weeks last year. Black ppl there are so fvcking different. >>

<< hahahahaha.... they're more laid back. i'm asian and blacks on west coast always have this attitude towards us. i'm over in DC walking around, going to some kinkos etc, and they all are more kick back. they don't have the 'they fvcked us over' attitude that alot of the ones on the west coast have. >>

Sounds like jlee does a little racial profiling of his own? :p:Q:eek:

Never said no respect, just not the respect they deserve. What I did was called drawing a logical conclusion or reading between the lines. I noticed that you jumped to a very irration conclusion that would put the police in a very negative light, and then said they lie. Without you saying you're baised against police, it seems to be a logical conclusion and I think most would also come to that same conclusion.

No matter, I'm going to sleep now :D

actually statistics do lie. i took a statistics class and there are tons of ways to seriously twist things into anything you want. there are like all these different ways to do crap with numbers to get almost whateever answer you want. the professor even said that "statistics is basically all bs"... it really just depends on how unbiased and how honest the person doing the math is.
