cops came today to investigate a case i know everything about in...read on if you wanna know what happen over the past few days..

one of my "friends" has been a looong time JACKER. i mean, he jacks books from the library, jacks papers, detention slips, whatever it is, after school candy etc. recently, he decided to jack a guys BACKPACK. okay, he was talkin about it, and yea, i thought hed do it, but i never came to much attention of it. okay, so on wednesday, at lunch, he came up to me and said "i did it".

"you did what?"
"i got it?"
"what? a backpack?"
"yea"
"from who?!"
"i dont know, some 7th grader, his names patrick"

he was quite libertized in saying all this, happy as heck. after a while of talking...

"where is it?"
"in your locker"
"WHAT!"

okay, i was quite irritated, in PE, this guy uses my PE clothes, and uses it to store his PE shirt because he lost the lock on his. later, later, i found out this was a 7th grader patrick that i knew from my cross country team. at this point, i was really upset, because the guy was a nice guy, real good and a good student.

in our PE locker rooms, we have individual lockers and also larger lockers that we can use temporarily. next to my locker, there is one of these large lockers. apparently, he dumped all the insides of the backpack into the locker and closed it. when i had my PE period, i looked inside that locker, and sure it was, everything was in there, his binders, notebooks, books etc. i covered my face in frustration...next, i opened my locker and there it was squeezed TIGHTLY, was they backpack. well, what could i do, i got out my PE clothes and got on with life...

the net day...i came to school and my "friend" was there, with his NEW backpack. he told me there was a cellphone in there, a bible, his wallet with his library cards etc. in there. he told me he dumped it all in the trash at the 7-11 across from our school. after this, i walked by the office to pick up some papers and i saw PATRICK in the counselor's office crying.

oh man...at that point, i felt so bad. he was a good kid, i didnt know what to do. i dont blame him for crying, i mean, the kid lost his school work, his cell phone, wallet, and who knows what else. at the time, he probably wasnt even worrying about his backpack, hed probably be thinking hopelessly of what he could do, what he would tell his parents when he came home a second day without finding it.

now, this "friend" of my is even worse than that. on the same day, he told a whole bunch of people he heard ANOTHER person stole his backpack. he told them the other person was bragging about it. sure enough, 5 min. later, the other person was called to the office.

now, today, my "friend" didnt come to school, his reasons i dont know why, he tends not to come to school when he feels like it. and today, at about 1pm, 2 police cars came to investigate. sigh...

id be devastated if i were patrick.. sheesh now i dont know what to do. to just keep quiet or tell on my "friend". i would, but he might find out i told and kick my @$$ or something. or maybe jack my backpack. i dont know what he would do, my guesses are that hed be REALLY pissed because he would be in a LOT of trouble. and no, dont get me wrong, he isnt really a friend at all. more like an associate. last night, there was a high school orientation. i didnt go, but he went, when he got home, he IMed me and told me he signed my name up for GIRLS water polo. you see how messed up this guy is? what should i do? ill update/edit as things unfold or as i remember more.

If you cover for this "friend" now, just wait and see what he does to you later in life. You are essentially his b!tch now.

You use the word "friend" very loosely. So loosely that I wouldn't even consider him a "friend" just someone who's probably going to get you in trouble later on. You haven't told Patrick about this yet? Just pretend you're Patrick and hopefully you should know what to do 🙂

Your screwed anyway you go. As Minendo said, if you cover for him now, your screwed long term. If you don't and he finds out you ratted, he's going to make your life hell as best as he can. Good luck.

This kid is a d!ck. You need to put distance between you and him. Eventually you will get blamed for his stuff.
And get a different lock for your locker.

13 year olds are fricking stupid.

yup. i agree. lol

anyways, rat your "friend" out. and if he wants to beat your ass, then stand up for yourself. and jack his backpack first.

<< You are essentially his b!tch now >>

Hehehe..that's what I was thinking.

Do the right thing.....or bend over forever!

i really do think i should do the right thing... after all, its for patrick, i dont know him well, but i sure do know hes a good kid. as for this "friend" hes not really a friend like i said, and im not trying to cover for him. im just afraid it could backfire because he'll say he used MY locker to hide it. the problem is, i didnt know until after he hid it in my locker. he keeps saying crap like "they have no proof its me" "they will never be able to prove i did it" "look how many people have this backpack".

im trying to keep away from him. he just means trouble. or i could tell someone else to tell on him, its pretty widespread, and a couple of other people know he did it.

You have to decide man, patrick will get over losing his backpack, and sooner or later, your friend will reap what he's sown. On the other hand, if he learns the lesson before he turns 18, it will be a lot less likely to screw up his life in the long run. Trust me, nobody stops stealing unless something jolts them, and it's best if you can get that jolt without the help of a summons.

ill tell you about this guy. you guys are right, he is a dick. he actually came from NORWAY. lived there for most of his life, moved to texas, and now san jose. he thinks hes smarter than everyone here, makes fun of everyone in school, makes fun of "society". is VERY racist, and always complains at how much better EUROPE is than here. he seems to have a lot of hatred, hates everyone, everything around him. hes quite rich, owns a big house on the hill next to our school, and still complains about that. wastes plenty of food, calls me "floss-eyes" because im chinese. okay well, i do get quite fed up with him sometimes. its no surprise most of his teachers dislike him.

It would sound more credible coming out of your mouth than his. What if they found out and came up to question you? How would you defend yourself?

Part of what he's doing is getting your approval, which he gets when you act neutral. You don't Have to tell him to F/O, but if you say "Dude, that's lame" or "That's not funny" or similar, eventually he'll stop involving you. If he does anything to challange you though, you HAVE to take a stand, or else you will be his next victim. Taking a stand is frightening, but you need to start now, otherwise all your life you will be backing down to people.

<< VERY racist, and always complains at how much better EUROPE is than here >>

Isn't that the most annoying thing in the world? I live near Washington, so 50% of the people here are foreign service, or army or something. These people's kids usually go with them. Every kid who spent much of their lives in Europe (especially Germany) won't shut up about how much better it is there and they can't wait to go back. I've never been there myself, but when I ask for examples of whats better about it, they mostly just mutter about how it's easy to drink there. I did hear some pretty neat stories about exploring abandoned WWII era bunkers tho...

I think you should tell on JerBoy immediatly

Uhh, you kind of fscked yourself when the backpack was in YOUR locker and the stuff was in one of the temp lockers. What you should have done was put all the stuff back into the backpack, throw it in the lost and found, and tell Patrick that you thought you saw his backpack in the PE lost in found..

Another question, how can you STEAL a backpack? If these lockers are so big (our PE lockers were small, like 2 shoebox's high and 1.5 shoebox's wide) then you probably put your backpack in your locker. How can you steal someone's backpack?

Get some balls and rat your friend out. He's no friend if he took some guys backpack, especially a guy who you didn't even know..

I am surrounded by fools. Fools who know not that they have that which some of us could only dream of.

I saw "School House Rocks" performed at Piedmont Middle School. To put it mildy, it is the worst perfomance I think I'll ever see.
