Cops called for harassment complaint

I have a friend who met a freshman girl in the library at college and they seemed to hit it off.

So much that she asked for his number before they left. She sent him a text message later too. He called back but went to voicemail so he left a message and sent her a text back.

Next day, he called again but no reply.

Same thing the next day.

He decided to give her one more chance and then give up on her since he didn't want to be strung around. So the next day he calls and gets nothing so he gives up on her.

Later that day he gets a visit from a cop saying that she complained of harassment from him! He showed the cop that she was the one who sent him a message first and then they reviewd the call logs and the cop left. He gets a call later from another cop that is filing a report on the 'incident'.

If I was him I would of stopped calling her after the 2nd time. No girl is worth it if she justs wants to play with you and then gets bored and quits.

I'm not an expert on US law but not sure putting her photo up here is such a clever idea.

If that's exactly how it happened then she should be done for wasting police time, I agree he should have just left a message and waited but how much effort would it be for her to answer/reply and give her excuses.

To late, I sent it to the police for further evidence.
 
Hah, fine. I removed it. It is public access though and since she is the one who gave her picture out I didn't see the harm in redistributing it. Not like you would be able to track her down, but who cares.

Damn, even just a single text and that'd be the end of it. But going to the police right away? Oy vey.



 
Nope. She just sent him that one text the day they met and never again. I wonder if the cops told her to quit wasting their time...

The cop said she was crying when she called, I found that hilarious.
