If you don't read the post or know the circumstances, then I can only wish a fiery painful death upon you. Reread the post, get a goddamn clue, and STFU. Ok?
Try breaking it up into readable paragraphs and we might bother to look at it.

Excuse me for failing to memorize every detail of your life. Here's what I read:
I'm changing my major to business, and I plan to become a lawyer to fight the swine on the streets.
Apparently I was supposed to piece together your autobiography from that sentence.

I might be missing a few threads, but only "incidents" are this one and a pervious one if my memory holds up. I find it very odd, if my memory is correct, that you would judge an entire career based off a few people located within the same area(assumption). Perhaps the problem is with the supervisors in your area permitting this kind of behavior.

I am also surprised that you would throw in the towl b/c of this...even if there were more incidents. You want to help people? So help people and become a cop. Cops are pigs? Put the theories into reality and set an example. Your faith in cops was shot, I understand this, but to abandon the profession b/c of it seems rather childish IMO.

Also, just an observation, but IIRC, each of these incidents there was alcohol involved & although you say you were sober, I have a feeling that played a part in them(maybe not  ) I agree with some of the others, you should get some good ol' fashioned shut eye. ;)

Anyways...enough of my rambling, GL in business if you've left law enforcement for good and don't plan to look back.

Then why did you reply?

I might hate myself later for saying this ... but hear me out

If you do something wrong, but you scare your victim into not telling on you, you eventually get power happy. So if cops start pushing people around, (cuss, beat, harass) but nobody reports anything, they are free to do it again.

People in general get pissed, and lose respect for cops and "the system" because cops mistreated them, but they don't make use of the "the system". The system can be used to report such cops, but scared/tired/apathetic people do not, and as a result cops gain "power".

If more people not only reported impropper cop behavior, but also demanded consequences, then cops would get less power happy, and try to understand the situation before they did something.

*not targeted at all cops, only those we are refering to

I was additionally motivated by skywalker66's thread
I admit he was a dumba$$ for starting $h!t with the cops, but they were being huge a$$es as well.

Yes, I'm very drunk. That's why I drove home, posted a coherent thread, and argued with an idiot such as yourself. Trolls, go away.

The more I listen to you, the less I understand.

That's quite evident. I've got class tommorrow, so I bid you a goodnight.

Please don't give me that. I know exactly what type of drunk you are. One of the know it all, never wrong, argumentative drunks. Maybe you dind't have that many beers, and odds are you don't have any tolerance whatsoever. You should not have driven home, and you seem so sure your post is coherent. Look at it tomrrow and you'll read a DRUNKEN post full of drivel about an experience your positive you were in the right about.

You're what I classify an argumentative "intellectual" drunk. Some people, who usually have extremly high opinions about themselves, are just like that after they drink. The have a huge feeling of bravado and have vocal opinions on what's wrong and should be right in the world. And you feel you should act. I'm sure you and your drunken friends were in complete agreement with each other patting each others back as you discussed the wrongs in society.

You drunk

Gentlemen...

Why don't we all step back for a bit.
Save this thread, and come back tomorrow, and lets all have a good read at it.
I think all of us are attacking one another, its not just one or two people. And for what purpose?

Mindless amusement. But, of course, you're correct, and I hope Evan has already gone to bed, he needs to, to cleanse his body and his mind. Hopefully he can come back tomorrow evening and we can discuss this in a bit more mature fashion.

It's interesting to note that the last timw Mill was arrested, he had also been drinking. I think he might not be able to handle his alcohol very well.

Seems like a case of lack of pattern recognition on his part.

Goes like this:

Go drinking; get arrested; post on ATOT how cops are "pigs" for hassling me; tell everyone who posts calling me a moron to go fvck themselves because I am always right.
Go drinking; almost get arrested and have a "bad" experience with the "pigs"; post on ATOT how cops are "pigs" for not doing their jobs, oh, and hassling me; tell everyone who posts calling me a moron to go fvck themselves because I am always right.

Cute. You done being a troll yet?
Hey Obscrunung.. I'm not the troll here. OP is the troll. I really didn't appreciate his inflamatory subject line.

Save this thread, and come back tomorrow, and lets all have a good read at it.
Only if OP breaks up his massive first paragraph and changes his subject line to something less offensive.

Because you had a bad experience with a police officer? Look at what cops have to do. Of course they are going to piss people off, sometimes unfairly, that is just the nature of the service they do. Your comments make you sound like an idiot.

If you don't read the post or know the circumstances, then I can only wish a fiery painful death upon you. Reread the post, get a goddamn clue, and STFU. Ok?

Wow. Calm down. I read your post and understand it as was written. I have had much worse run ins with the police, and for you to come to the conclusion that "cops are pigs, and unworthy of my support" over the incident you described makes you sound like a brat.

Some guys beat you up (can't blame em) and a cop says you can press charges. What did he do wrong? I can see being angry at the second cop, but your reaction is simply foolish.
