Copper Shim

Do I need to use one of these for my thermalright sk6? I wave read some revies that said to use it and others where they didin't use it.

You don't really need one. Just read any instructions fully and take your time and you should be fine.

Its just according if you want to live on the edge or be safe. Anytime you put a heatsink on without a shim(mainly AMD CPU's) your taking a chance on cracking the core or if your PC gets jared hard.

I wouldn't. Most of the time it will not let your H/S seat properly. I know it wouldn't for my Thermaltake Dragon Orb.
