Maybe I'm looking at the wrong thing here? The only part of the websites (computerfix, bejingfix) that looked the same was the menu on the left and the gray bar under the main header picture. The text was different, the pics were different. Honestly, both your site and the supposed "exact word for word copy" look cheap and unprofessional.

The geeksinmi doesn't even look the same as either of them.

I am the "douchebag" from http://geeksinmi.com/ .....................

Just wanted to publically say I am sorry for what happened. I must give computerfix.org props, he actually had the balls to call me outright and ask me point blank, and I told him yes, I owned the website. I wasn't responsible for all the content though and those who helped me set it up told me they had used a template to set up a PHP nuke website. After 10 minutes or so on the phone with computerfix, and reading to me verbatim his website I decided to get to the bottom of this.

He also told me how to check out the authenticity of his claims and I did so as soon as possible. In the end I sided with Adam from computerfix, and the two responsible were let go. This is an embarrassment to me, and it is not how I would like to do business. I've since changed what I could in the time I had available, and I think that both myself and computerfix have a good understanding. I appreciate his phone call, and I hope that this internet plagiarism isn't continued throughout the area.

My apologies go to Adam personally, and his company http://www.computerfix.org/. If there is anything I can do to help prevent this in the future I will.

Thanks!

Thanks Harv, I can't tell Ya'll enough how embarassing this was to me and my company. I thought I had bought the help from a couple of decent guys. I fix all kind of systems as a general rule, and never got into building websites for myself... like they say, once bitten twice shy!!!!!!!

You should just have your legal department send them a cease and desist.

What, you don't have a legal department?

Oh, then I guess the only option is to get over it, really.

If it's not losing any business for you then you shouldn't worry too much. There are much bigger things to worry about.
