Well there are check points all over the place up there that are apparently stopping every car at gun point. Makes you wonder if he's actually in the house. Not sure how the cops are having a shoot out with him but are still stopping cars looking for him. Doesn't add up

Could simply be protocol--only way to keep exits secure is to check all vehicles, obviously--but this is the only footage that we see, so it sure appears that they don't think he is in the cabin.
