This all stinks like a cover up going poorly. The whole story of the car jacking and the shoot out does not pan out. The only two people that knew what really happened is either in the hospital or dead.

So far it just looks like they set some poor dudes house on fire to make it look like they're doing something.

Honestly it looks like he's trying to string them along to cover it up and then blow it all out in the open once they think he's 'gone'.
