Cop jumps on car, shoots driver

Basically this guy was driving his neighbour to Walgreens, but it turns out he was using a stolen car. He was evading the police and tried to run one over, which resulted in the cop being on top of the car. The cop, reportedly defending himself, shot the driver through the windshield while the car was still in motion. The passenger survived, and claims the driver never spoke during this event.

what the fuck? crazy. How's the driver?

yeah seen that on liveleak.

like something out of a movie the guy jumpin go on the hood of the car and shooting.

wow multiple officers shot at the moving car, WHILE there was a passenger right in front? I don't know if that was very wise, but at least the passenger got out okay.

Dead. After the cop shot him (probably killed him) two or so other cops shot him (not sure why, at that point).

Same reason BF2 players squat over your corpse after they kill you.

For the lulz.

That's teabagging (you'll see them crouch).

"Balls in your mouth, biatch!"

Why do you say "reportedly" defending himself? When someone tries to run you over you are authorized to use deadly force, cop or no cop. Your life is being threatened.

when they say "tried to run over" what they really mean was pointed his car in thier general direction and moved at a rate greater then 0mph. but yeah its pretty dumb to run from the cops.

Because I'm not putting my opinion into this. It was reported that he was defending himself, and I'm not going to fuel the argument that he did or did not use excessive force, which you seem to be trying to do.

that was sweet. one more dirtbag off the streets.

it's even dumber to drive at one at a slow enough rate that he can jump on the hood and shoot you. natural selection ftw.

When you need to make turns, u-turns or whatever it is you'll be slwoing down. Same with dodging multiple cop cars. If you're doing a straightaway chase there's no way anyone's gonna jump on your car.

What's with shooting people through glass? I thought that was a no-no due to possible deflection of the bullet.

Why not shoot out tires?

Gotcha. that's my bad, my sarcasm meter is broken. I thought you were implying something in out OP. I didn't even watch the video to be honest with you, not trying to start any controversy.

from the video i got the impression he was randomly pulling u-turns. so try not to do one while there is a cop on foot in front of you, at a slow rate of speed, or he might jump on the hood and shoot you. and if i was running from the cops it's all bootlegger turns, none of this slowing down garbage.

Pavement deflects bullets more so than glass -- shooting at tires is not typically a suggested course of action..

😕 you need some glasses.

Near the end of the movie it clearly shows an officer on the guy's hood with a drawn gun. The fella didn't just try to fake them out, he hit the officer who jumped and landed on the hood. I'd've shot him too, it would be too easy for the driver to slam on the brakes and send me flying onto the road to be ran over.
