Nice execution. Unarmed and running away, cop shoots him 8 times in the back.

AT least there was video, and he is now charged with murder. Without the video, it would have been a "good shoot" because he resisted arrest, or whatever lie the cop decided to use. Just another bad apple I guess.

Nice. Looks like afterwards the retard was like "Awww yeah, I got this. No one was around."

Wow, even worse....

#1, cop runs back to get his taser and appears to drop it by the dead man

#2, damn, the person recording this was brave. It wouldn't have taken much for the person recording this to have been executed by the cops because they thought the camera was a gun being pointed at him. The usual "I thought he had a gun" defense they use so often, and the camera and recording disappears forever.

Sounds like they caught him moving the taser after the shooting and placing it next to the victim.

Normally, evidentiary rules would not allow the officer to do such a thing.

If there wasn't a video, does anyone believe we'd be getting such a charge from the DA?

if there was no video this would have turned completely different. it's like I'm watching a real episode of Chicago Blue.

Wow, that cop needs to be in jail ASAP. Make an example out of him. Lame how the news story starts "white cop" and "guns down african american." News can't help themselves making this about race.

If you don't agree with the cop did, then the next time you need help, don't dial 9-1-1, call a crackhead.

Blah blah blah.

So you are fine with me shooting you in the face. I hope you and your family is tortured for years then thrown in the trash

or maybe the sarcasm meter is broken

Maybe your sense of what is acceptable here is broken. That was over the top even for P&N.

Horrible.

The video is critical. Not seeing any defense for the cop here. Thank god the video lays out the event. Transparency solves what happened here, I agree that if no video then the Cop walks on a bogus made up story.

Edit: I didn't hear any "Freeze!" or other commands from the officer before firing.

When I see these vids all I can think of is how many thousands of oeople have been fucked over by police when video didn't exist to catch this disgusting behavior. The shooting was clearly unjustified. I dearly, dearly hope he was planting evidence at the scene also because it will help to crucify him.

There are so many cops out there exactly like this. As long as the brothers in blue insist on lying for each other (not appearing necessarily in this case though) they have to expect to be associated to some degree with the scum criminal ones.

He will be found guilty, I wouldn't worry about that with any sincerity.

A)Shot the guy in the back.
B)The guy was not a threat.

Was the guy a threat to go murder someone else or something? Not based on information available now, but perhaps the defense will now try to squeeze focus on that angle.

Why was the guy running away from the cop? This is a bad idea, don't justify being shot at, but this guy running was slow as shit, what's going on leading to that course of action?
