coolmax a good psu?

I returned the Antec True 330w since it didnt provide enough cooling for my fanless case and replaced it with the Coolmax. Had it for almost a month now and no problems whatsoever, my Athlon 1700 is overclocked to a 2400 and Im getting 43C from temp in bios.

I bought a Coolmax C400B (400w) a little over a month ago and have been using it in my new system.

I realize it's not one of the big names but it has been great. I didn't need 400W but I wanted to have a little headroom. If you look at the ratings on each of the respective rails, I think you get a good bang for your buck. It is a very quiet power supply also and it has a 120mm exhaust fan which ends up being situated right above my cpu/hsf. My idle temp is 38 and load is 43 on an XP 2700. Great buy IMHO - consider it a mid-range thumbs up.

edit: by the way, that Coolmax you linked to is definitely a step up from the C400B, as it seems to have a knob for fan control whereas the C400B has a switch (hi/med/lo). There are plenty of connections for your CD-ROMs and anything else you need to power - you just can't see them very well in the photo provided. No one would try to sell a power supply without those 🙂.

I just got my C450B via UPS about...oh...45 minutes ago. Everything I've heard has been pretty favorable from both a power and noise perspective. I'll know for sure in a few hours!
