Cooling question? Case or system is the problem?

My case temp runs about 26C most of the time... at night sometimes it gets down to 20C. My processor runs at about 45C most of the time (idle) and only at about 41 when the case is as low as 20C.

I have a panaflow H1A on top of a globalwink wbk38 heatsink (80mm fan) to keep it quiet, and 1 L1A intake and 1 L1A exhaust fan... Enlight 7237. Is my processor 45C because my proc fan is not very good? I know that my case temps are very reasonable as my airflow seems to be pretty good...

It is a 1.2ghz AXIA @ 1.33. Default core voltage.

it is also 100% stable after running prime95 for days. My CPU temp only goes to 52 or so under full load (doesnt fluctuate all that much even though idle is fairly hot) What would be best to make this even cooler? (and possibly go to 1.4ghz with a core voltage uppage)

I was thinking about keeping my fans and going with an alpha 8045 but i dont know if that will help

Also using kt7a-raid

Thanks

Try using some kind of thermal paste, preferably ASII, and lapping the HS if it's not flat.

it has as2 on there. I havent lapped the heatsink and i have never really checked to see if it's flat. Like i said, i do have a low airflow fan on there.

those temps are higher than I would like, but nothing to really worry about. As long as the system is stable temperatures mean nothing.
