I think I might have overdid it a little bit as far as fans but here goes:

Specs of gaming PC:

A64 3200+ Venice
Asus A8N-SLI nForce4 SLI mobo
OCZ 1gb (2x512mb) 2.5CAS ram
Gigabyte Geforce 6600GT
Antec TruePower 2.0 430W PSU
WD 80GB SATA150 HD
NEC DVD Burner

Cooling specs:
Thermalright XP-90C Copper Heatsink w/ Panaflo 92mm H1B fan
Panaflo 120mm U1A fan replacing the stock exhaust fan
Panaflo 92mm H1B fan replacing the stock side window intake fan

I'm leaving the front intake fan stock for now and in a few weeks I'll probably replace it with another Panaflo 120mm. Do you think this is a bit of overkill replacing the stock fans with these high powered panaflo fans? I just want to make sure everything is nice and cool. I was going to get a tornado to place ontop of the XP-90C but everyone says its too loud to the point of that it's annoying.

I wonder how much I can OC my cpu to with the cooling specs. 2600mhz pushin it? or ya think it will run stable.

Comments? Suggestions?

Thanks.
Joe

ok, first, there is no way to garauntee an overclock, but if you dont get well above 2.6, you can consider yourself officially unlucky. my winnie goes right up to 2.85 on 1.55v. a lot venices do that too.

BTW, the cooler the better, as long as you have the money and don't mind spending it. Period.

Enjoy the xp-90C, with less CFM that xp-90C will cool alot better than the aluminum version. (Madshrimps wouldnt lie!)

Quite true - you can never cool too much... err, you can with phase cooling or liquid nitro :D

Yeah, i have the "high" panaflo 120mm fans in my case right nowl, 40db is TOO loud for me, espicially cause I sleep in the room this computers in. A fan speed controller is on its way to my house as i speak.

Likewise, Cooler isn't always better - I wouldn't want to move a case around that much that was using pure copper heatsinks, for fear of bending the motherboard or ripping out the socket or something.

Yea Madshrimps is what I went by. I almost made a huge mistake and bought the Vantec Tornado, but even the guy at the ordering site I went to, told me to NOT get it. It's way too loud. He said it sounds like there's high powered vacuum cleaner in your system.
