What is a great quiet cpu fan for TBird 800 that will not bankrupt me? I dont usually overclock but would like to have sufficient cooling if I decided to.

get the vantec one from 2cooltek.com , i've got it, my tbird 800 is at 49C full load, which isn't awesome ,but the 2cooltek guy says its a lot better then a chrome orb. Cant beat it for $15.

Portend, an Alpha PAL6035 w/ ADDA 16.1dBA fan is a great quiet setup for overclocking and it will not bankrupt you. It will make you poor though. :)

I would have to go with the vantic. It's cheap and the performance is comperable to an alpha, but with the vantic you will have quite a bit left over in your wallet. Plus you might be able to add a cheap peltier to that setup, but it might be a bit extreme for your needs.

If you are looking for a place to find any of these heatsink/fans i would have to recomend 2cooltek. especially with only $3.50 shipping for 2-3 day service, and very good prices

I was using my tbird 800 oc to 935 with vantec fan and got 47c under full load. However, after I got the arctic silver compound and the FOB32+ fan, I now have 40c under full load!
