Not sure how hot this is, but I haven't seen it lower since around black friday. I went ahead and ordered one to try it out.

Might be worth it to wait with new 120/144Hz 1440p IPS and 4K IPS G-Sync monitors coming out in the next couple of months, but if you want a decent 4K display now, this seems like a pretty good price.

Some people have had issues with the monitor not waking up, but a power cycle of the monitor fixes it.

EDIT: Just to be clear, this is a 27" 60Hz 4K IPS monitor.

This is the upgrade to that gawd-awful P2815Q right? Which was 4k @ 30hz + TN

This monitor:

  • 4k
  • 60hz
  • IPS

Much better amirite?

Correct, this is a 27" 60Hz 4k IPS. I probably should have specified in the original post, sorry.

Yeah...that shitty TN monitor you mentioned was at one point on sale for $300 from the Microsoft store about a month or so ago. Hard pass!

I just ordered this one though! Excellent!

I would jump all over this but I've decided to wait for a 4K Freesync monitor. Gah so tempting :'(

This one is SST. The older 24" model (UP2414Q) was MST.

Price also seems to have gone back up to 600, I will edit the title.
