Cooling and Cable Question

I was planning on getting one of the Socket 939 A64s next month, and I was wondering if current cooling solutions for the Socket 940 and 754 will work on that processor? If so, then I can start looking into what heatsink/fan combo to get for my computer (and if you have suggestions please throw them out there).

Also, I was condsidering getting round IDE cables instead of the ribbon cables since they are easier to make the insides of the case "neat". However, someone told me that they run slower than ribbon cables. Is this true, or are they the same as ribbon IDE cables in all ways except shape? If they do run slower, is it significant or minimal?

Thanks in advanc!

I agree with johnjkr1, theres no real difference with the rounded cabling other than shape (if there is I have never noticed one). As far as the cooling solution question, i have heard rumors that the current 940 heatsinks will work on the 939, and i would say they would, but dunno for sure.

No idea on the cooling, but the cable don't matter. Their quality is more important then anything else.
