I had a Blue Orb II CPU cooler that just broke so I replaced it with the stock Intel heatsink. I loaded the computer and it idles at 30-37C depending on my room temp. Is it safe to continue to use this heatsink? I am not overclocking the CPU, only my RAM. Also would an airduct going to the rear 120mm fan help?
I was looking at this airduct
http://cgi.ebay.com/BRAND-NEW-Everc...ltDomain_0&hash=item439ee93722#ht_2168wt_1165
With this 120MM adapter
http://cgi.ebay.com/Thermaltake-A23...aultDomain_0&hash=item20af6337d9#ht_500wt_956
and I have this case
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119157
In the case, I have the standard front 120MM fan (I believe it's blowing in). A rear 120MM fan (Blowing out) a side 120MM fan (I believe it's blowing in) and a bottom 120MM fan (Blowing in).
I don't want to overclock this machine but I want to cool it as well as possible, the room the computer is in gets pretty warm, sometimes 80 degrees F.
