I was looking at Arctic Cooling VGA Silencer, but noticed it says it is only compatible with Geforce3. Is there anything similar in design for Geforce 4? Is there even reason too? I plan on bios upgrade 5900 to 5950u and overclocking, was concerned about heat...

Nah dont worry about it. Max overclock for 5950's is under 550 even though I can get mine to 595 anything in between will cause long pauses in games like Far Cry. As for the memory well mine isnt cooled because I took off the stock cooler to replace it with a Tt Giant III so I keep it at 1GHz.

Most GFX5900 have decent cooling HSF already. You probably would do well to be sure your case can stay cool as the GFX5900 blows off its heat. A slot fan right next to the vid card might not hurt.
