I just watched Supernova on TV. Fancy looking!

Stargate also looks good, but they're not relaly in a ship. And when they are in a ship, it isn't that fancy when they go into hyperspace.

BSG's FTL is pretty neat too to dissapear in a flash.

Starwars is always good, kinda like Star trek's warp drive.

The (new) Doctor Who opening sequence. Babylon 5 (from The Legend of the Rangers entering and leaving hyperspace, because they redid the effects for that. Note that the rest of that particular B5 movie utterly sucked.)

What about the "starburst" from Farscape? I suppose that would be faster-than-light travel...

Contact. I get chills when they do that time-warp effect where her body kind of splits off and you see her say things she hasn't said yet, or things she said a few seconds ago.
