There have been a few threads lately that describe the degradation of the AT community compared to the "good old days".

I would like to temper that by getting everyone to think about newer members that have impressed them with the quality of their posts. I know I'm a relative newbie myself but I get to see the best and the worst of you all nevertheless, and I feel that I can distinguish the "quality posters" from the lesser folk (despite which group you think I fall in). To be honest I am truly in awe of some of you (no names 😉).

Without further adieu I nominate BoomerD (Joined 2/26/06) as coolest new member.

I guess 2005 is acceptable. But if someone joined a while ago and recently became a frequent poster that's acceptable as well. Some of you have sort of "always" been cool. Haven't you had any instances of "hey who the fvck is that, his post are pretty interesting" lately?

JLGatsby defenitely wins on my list. He was funny, active, and one of the greatest trolls ever up until his retirement.
