Coolermaster R120

I just bought an Opteron 165 that I am going to be overclocking and I want to know what you guys think of a Cooler Master R120 for $80 shipped AR.

This is my first computer build/ first overclocking experience, so I like that everything is self-contained so i don't have to worry about leakage. From all of the reviews that I've seen, it runs cooler than any other air cooled hsf, but is it worth the $80 price tag in ur guy's opinions?

Thanks for the help

EDIT: Also, my video card is already oced so I'm not going to mess with it or my ram.

for that opty i dont think you that good of a cooling system. their based on san diego cores so they dont get too hot to need wc. but your well come to get it if you want. i would suggest a xp90 by thermalright you can have one for $30+cost of fan+shipping and its pretty effective.

i will be getting a R120 for my pentium D 820 that im getting through the intel retail edge program and oc the balls off that 😀. the pentium D's get pretty toasty so thats why i would be considering wc.

I don't think it's worth it in my opinion. Many top of the line air coolers are now more efficient than basic water cooling like the CM. Try the Thermalright SI-120 or Scythe Ninja, they're known to be even better than basic water cooling, and they're cheaper.

If you're going to overclock, don't get the kit. These cheap kits are meant for stock cooling and quietness.
